Same owner. Same work ethic. A specialty brand built for surfaces.
Bear Design LLC, doing business as Bear Design & Custom Resin, was created so epoxy, resin, concrete coatings and custom surface work could have a dedicated home of their own — while staying connected to Little Bear Construction.
Ashton Zeher
Construction has been part of Ashton’s life since childhood. He started working alongside his father at nine years old, learning hands-on skills, problem solving and the kind of craftsmanship that comes from doing the work instead of just talking about it.
After his father passed away, Ashton took over the family business and continued building on what they had started together. His experience expanded through residential construction and property ownership, including owning and operating 27 homes and building homes from the ground up in Florida.
Ashton was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Florida with his mother when he was four, but Pittsburgh never really left him. Steelers, Pirates and Penguins pride stayed with him, and returning to the Pittsburgh area in 2014 felt like coming home. He brought the business with him and continued building both the construction side and, later, the specialty coatings and resin side.
Today, Ashton operates Bear Design & Custom Resin alongside Little Bear Construction. He is married to his wife, a nurse, and they are raising two sons together. Family, pride in the work, and standing behind the finished product remain central to how both companies operate.
