Design the surface around the room
Bring photos of the cabinetry, walls and lighting along with examples of finishes you like. Color, veining and edge treatments are discussed before work begins. Hand-created patterns vary, so a reference image provides direction rather than an exact repeat.
Existing counters and substrate suitability
An existing top must be evaluated for stability, condition and compatibility. Loose materials, movement, moisture damage and edge details can change the scope. We discuss preparation and whether the current surface is suitable before quoting a coating or new custom piece.
Care and practical expectations
Follow the care instructions for the selected finish. Use cutting boards and protective trivets, and discuss heat, stain and scratch expectations before choosing a system. A decorative resin surface is not a promise of resistance to every kitchen or commercial exposure.
